What to Bring to Your First Visit
Don’t worry if you cannot gather everything on this list. Bring what you have, and our team will work with the rest.
- A valid photo ID
- Your insurance card, if you have coverage. If you are not sure whether your plan is accepted, call us ahead of time, and we will check for you.
- A list of any current medications, including supplements. Some medications affect dental treatment, and knowing upfront helps us plan your care safely.
- Previous dental records, if you have them. If not, we will take new X-rays at your visit so we have a complete, current picture of your oral health.
- Any questions you want answered. Write them down if it helps. We will make time for every single one before you leave.

A Warm Welcome at the Front Desk
Our front desk team will greet you, confirm your information, and walk you through any intake paperwork. We keep this part brief. If you have coverage, we will verify your benefits on the spot so you know what is and is not included before anything begins. Our entire team speaks English and Spanish fluently, so let us know your preference and we will go from there.

A Waiting Room Designed for Families
If you brought your kids, they have a dedicated play area to keep them occupied. Flat screen TVs and music keep the atmosphere relaxed for adults, too. If your wait runs longer than expected, we will let you know.

A Conversation Before an Examination
Before we look at a single tooth, a member of our clinical team will sit with you, go over your health history, and ask about any concerns you came in with. If you have dental anxiety, a long gap since your last visit, or a specific issue that has been bothering you, this is the time to bring it up. We adjust our approach based on what you share. Nothing you tell us will be met with judgment.

Your Full Examination
Your dentist will complete a thorough examination that includes digital X-rays and an oral cancer screening. Every finding gets explained in plain language before we move on. If something needs attention, you will hear about it from us directly, not in a follow-up letter. If everything looks good, we will tell you that too.

A Treatment Plan That Makes Sense for You
If follow-up care is recommended, your dentist will explain what it is, why it matters, and what your options are. We do not pressure timelines. We lay out the information and let you make an informed decision. If cost is a concern, our front desk team can walk you through your insurance coverage and Cherry Financing options before you leave, so you are never left guessing about next steps.

An Easy Checkout
Before you walk out, we confirm your next appointment, answer any remaining questions, and make sure you have everything you need. You will leave knowing exactly where your oral health stands and what, if anything, comes next.
